Description: Ownership of the castle Portillon is the subject of a long-running legal dispute between two mature gentlemen, Count D'Alsay and Colonel Delaroche. While continuing the long process of litigation, an elderly washerwoman maneuver skillfully to bring together his two young grandchildren, Monique and Babette, the two opponents, so that, whoever he wins the case, the castle is in any case assured the family.
