you know, there are a lot of movies that have started first as a book. Im sure out of all the movies you have watched, you didnt read the book before, or after. so, does that make you an ass? or is it differant, if so, i would be pretty interested in hearing your point.Reply Posted by bubbGRANGE about 1 Year Ago | Mark As Spam | | | +17

The books are so much better than the movies. If you haven't read them yet, you really should. The movies are good, but compared to the books, they kinda suck.

It was an alright movie. I felt it was a bit off stream from the books. Seems they focused more on the "Snogging". Which i mean it is in the book but its only like a some what big deal in like two chapters. They didn't need it in the entire movie to get their point across that they are growing up and are becoming attracted to the opposite sex. "FYI" if you have not read the book you should it is a hell of a lot better then this movie (most books are) but I think more so with this movie. for one who only managed two chapters of the sorcerer's stone before squirming in boredom, and has been totally against the whole thing more or less since the beginning, yet seen all the movies (the power of marketing), i must say it's getting better and better

enjoyed the movie. thought it followed through well as part of the continuing story. haven't read the books yet, but all books i have read & then later saw the movie, the latter always seemed lacking. hollywood has a time frame & budget, but much of the time they do come up with entertainment!

the movie was absolutely terrible. don't get me wrong i 'm a big fan of the series but this movie was almost sickeningly bad. there was no plot what-so-ever. they tried to fit 20 hours of book (20 hours is the length of the audio book) into a 2 and a half hour movie, i understand how that would be hard but i would think plot would be something you kept. this book was one of the best but all of the plot development was bypassed for the movie. all the greatest parts, the jaw dropping moments, if you've read the books then you know what i'm talking about, were ruined in the movie by there being no build up, the movie simply jumped straight to the end of each plot line. and the scene at the weasley, again if you read the books you know which scene i'm talking about, was ridiculous. 20 hours of book 2 and a half hours of movie and they decide to make up a random and seemingly pointless scene. brilliant, skip the plot and replace it with scenes that relate to nothing at all. horriblePosted by asmith0811 about 2 Years Ago | 0 Replies | Quick Reply | Mark As Spam | | | -4
beautiful, rich and more mature tone...to match the veiwers who have grown up with these characters?good and evil, right and wrong become less clear as you grow older...incredible performance by "malfoy",driven and anguished.long live harry potter!Posted by haikutou about 2 Years Ago | 0 Replies | Quick Reply | Mark As Spam | | | +7
