Description: Shadows of the Orient uncovers the seedy smuggling of Chinese men into America from Mexico in a thrilling detective story peppered with romance and guns. One of Hollywood's all time greatest beauties Esther Ralston is Viola, the daughter of a judge who gets caught in a Chinese gambling operation. As the situation is investigated, connections to the illicit Chinese smuggling ring are revealed.
