Description: This film documents the true life cathartic journey of Artist and Actor Darrell Fusaro, whose grandfather was murdered in Passaic New Jersey on New Years Eve in 1970. Never solved, the mafia style slaying shocked the community and shattered the Fusaro family, which never recovered from the inexplainable murder of its patriarch. By all accounts Union Official James Fusaro seemed to be an innocent victim of this horrible crime. Decades later, his grandson faces demons cast by the awful event by writing and staging a play demonstrating his family's ordeal in the years following the murder. The film revolves around Fusaro performing the play in his hometown as a benefit for his alma mater, Clifton High School. What unfolds during the preparation of the play is an ironic and often hilarious journey in dealing with community characters and ridiculously enforced political correctness. All of this is interspersed with heartwarming family memories and shocking twists and turns while trying to find out what happened that fateful night in 1970.
