Description: Air, Water, Earth, Fire. Four nations tied by destiny when the Fire Nation launches a brutal war against the others. This is late i know, but i just came across this title on this site and read the comments. *Sigh*
First, I give this movie a 2 out of 10 - 1 for momo and 1 for the princess. everything else was crap.
I am a huge fan of the Series and I watched this movie with one hand over my eyes.
Who the hell is UUNG? HIS NAME IS AANG!
Or SOCA? - It's SOKKA! -
Soca is the music of Trinidad and Tobago and idk what the hell UUNG is.
And Dev Patel? Really? - nothing against the guy but come on.
casting for this movie was horrible.
I saw a guy putting on a dance number before he bended fire. WTF?
ALL bending in this movie was bad.
Name pronunciation was terrible.
The earth benders were supposed to be on an iron rig not some F'ed up camp where they are standing on uhhhh EARTH! -their explanation for it was crappy as well.
I can go on but i'm getting angry.
Sha-ma-la-ma-ding-dong! don't make another.... PLEASE.

People give this movie a hard time. You expected great and you got decent. It happens. The actors tried too hard to be like the voice actors from the cartoon. It made the acting unbelievable for those who aren't big fans of the cartoon. I give this one a 7/10. Not bad. If any of you actually payed attention to the beginning of the movie, you would see that it says "Book One: Water"... This is what happened in the series in those chapters.. There has to be 3 more parts. I mean, if this one was good enough to continue with.
