Description: Sequel to Vampire Hunter D (1985), although it is now many years in the future. Vampires no longer rule over humans, and humans have taken on jobs as bounty hunters to search out and destroy vampires. The dhampir D looks exactly the same as he did in the first movie. Being half vampire, a dhampir doesn't age. He is still accompanied by the talkative parasite who lives in his left hand, and he is still the best vampire hunter in the business.Vampires once ruled the night but have seen their numbers reduced by the fearless bounty hunters. One such hunter is D, the halfbreed son of a human mother and vampire father. When a girl from a rich family is taken from her home by the vampire Meier Link, her father contracts both D and the Markus brothers (a rival group of hunters)to retrieve her.In a race against time and across the lands, D and the Brothers fight their way through demons and monsters to save the woman, and slowly begin to suspect that she wasn't taken against her will...and that another threat looms in the distance.
