A millionaire's son visits his father once a year and gets to pick out anything he wants from the department store. He picks out the janitor.
Jack Brown(Richard Pryor) is a down on his luck writer who is talked into taking a job as a "plaything" for the spoiled rich kid of billionaire U.S. Bates (Jackie Gleason), who just can't communicate with his own son.
