"Greek Street" was directed by Sinclair Hill in 1930 and was a very early British talkie. IMDB quotes a running time of 85 minutes, but this version runs for just 52 minutes. Despite this, the narrative still makes good sense (possibly some musical numbers have been cut) with a story concerning a young couple, (William Freshman and Sari Maritza), whose relationship becomes very strained when the girl embarks on a show business career.
