The first movie pairing of the Brothers Lawrence - Joey, Matt, & Andy. I'm kind of surprised by the number of perfect 10 votes this movie had. As Joey might say - Whoooooa (remember Blossom? Okay, you've gotta be older for that.) No way this deserves a 10. No, no way. Yes, this is a pretty good movie for a family, not much violence and good family values. On the other hand there are problems here galore. The whole idea that the Frye family had to split or have one of them be a slave just because of a deer shot on someone else's land, just because the Holcomb's are not to be messed with... well, that just doesn't cut it. Absolutely lame. If they wanted to stick with that they shoulda somehow brought the father Holcomb back into the picture to realize the error of his ways, apologize to the Fryes, and to punish his son for lying. Would've helped to wrap up the story very nicely but, nope, they didn't do that. And the scenery... HORRENDOUS for a story set on the east coast of the United States. Might as well have shot around the outskirts of L.A. and kept palm trees in view. The mountains of British Columbia where this was filmed are outstandingly gorgeous and tremendously huge compared to those anywhere in the Northeast or Mid-Atlantic-Shenandoah area of the U.S. (or basically anywhere east of the Mississippi River.) Just wrong, wrong, wrong to film where they did. Lastly on the negative side, that was a nice modern day Philadelphia accent Joey Lawrence had in this... problem was this story took place in the early to mid 1700's sometime. Hello? And lastly lastly, thank goodness Mark Paul Gosselaar's part was fairly small 'cause, well, I just can't put my finger on it but it seemed he just didn't fit his role at all. I've seen a few things he's been in since Saved By The Bell and it feels like Zack Morris is the only character I can picture him as. Maybe he's good in NYPD Blue, I'll hafta check it out. Back to this movie... one thing that was really good in this was the whitewater sequence on the unnamed river they were floating down. Done really well to the point I thought the director and/or cinematographer should have been nominated for something, a filming in nature award of some kind. What, there isn't one? There ought to be and for TV movies this could have been in contention. The whitewater sequence gets an A, the scenery gets an A+, the scenery accuracy pertaining to the story gets a big fat F, overall I'm giving this movie a grade of: C Watch Movies Online for Free on 10StarMovies.

While the first two movies were based on the novel by Michael Ende, this one is only based "on the characters." It transfers Fantasia into the "real" world. Bastian's dream to get a sibling becomes true when his father re-marries, but soon he has trouble with his new step sister Nicole and with a gang of school bullies, the Nasties. Hiding in the school library, Bastian finds his favorite book of THE NEVERENDING STORY, where it is later found by Slip, the gang leader. The latter recognizes the power of the book and begins to form Fantasia after his bad intentions. When the chaos becomes worse the Child-like Empress requests Bastian to move back to the real world, get the book back and save Fantasia. Accidentally some Fantasia characters travel with him to reality, but get lost in different places. Meanwhile Slip and the other Nasties spread anarchy. Finally, Bastian gets support from Nicole, who begins to believe in the power of Fantasia. Together they are able to solve the situation and become friends. "Stay Tuned" tells the story of the Knables, Roy, a lousy plumbing supplies salesman by day and couch potato by night, and his wife, Helen, a successful senior product manager for a vitamin company. Roy and Helen are the "Odd Couple" of the 1990s; Roy watches too much TV every night and Helen just cannot stand it. In layman's terms, they have marriage problems of their own. Then one night later would be the night that would change their lives forever; Helen offers Roy on a romantic getaway without phones, their children, and especially no TV. Unfortunately, when Roy's hooked hooked on the big screen, there's no going back. This frustrates and angers her and decides to smash the family console with one of Roy's trophies as a wake-up call to reality. A heartbroken-to-disoriented Roy then hears the doorbell and finds out that it's a mysterious salesman named Spike who offers him the "ultimate getaway" from all the hate, frustration, and failures: a new remote controller and a new state-of-the-art satellite TV. Roy accepts the new TV by signing a free trial contract not knowing that he just sold his soul to the devil himself. But later, Helen is both not impressed and steamed. After a fight outside, the "dish" activates. Roy and Helen try as hard as possible to escape, but it was too late for the force of gravity from the dish sucks them into the "Cable Television World of Hell"- all six hundred and sixty-six channels worth. Now they must survive through every episode of shows such as the game show "You Can't Win", the U.W.W.F. (Underworld Wrestling Federation) match, "Northern Overexposure", "RoboCat", a cartoon, and "Off With His Head", all within 24 hours. If successful, they will return back to home, but if they fail, the devil keeps their souls forever. After they survived one day without harm, only Roy gets sent back home while Spike hold Helen hostage. Now with the help of their children, Daryl, a communication whiz and Diane, a fashion freak, Roy must go back to the underworld and save his wife while keeping a distance from Spike.
