When Dr. Frankenstein is killed by a monster he created, his daughter and his lab assistant Marshall continue his experiments. The two fall in love and attempt to transplant Marshall's brain in to the muscular body of a retarded servant Stephen, in order to prolong the aging Marshall's life. Meanwhile, the first monster seeks revenge on the grave robbers who sold the body parts used in its creation to Dr. Frankenstein. Soon it comes after Marshall and the doctor's daughter. This early Jackie Chan vehicle was made before Chan refined the personal style that made him an international star. The movie is an awful low budget formula flick that makes very little sense at all. Basically, a mysterious goof of a martial arts teacher, who evidently lives in a forest, teaches Chan how to fight. His father is vehemently opposed to fighting, apparently even in self-defense, and, when he learns of Chan fighting, punishes him in odd ways. The movie alternates between fighting with street bullies and odd punishment, stopping only for a totally inexplicable scene with a rubber member of the Chinese syndicate. She takes a trip to the nudist colony on the Isle of Levant, where she almost kind of joins in. Then it's off to Paris, where she gets a beauty treatment from Fernand Aubrey, and attends some racy dance revues. In New York and Los Angeles, she visits some topless clubs and listens to a topless all-girl pop band. The film wraps up with some posthumous footage of her family in mourning.
