There's something pretty grisly going on under London in the Tube tunnels between Holborn and Russell Square. When a top civil servant becomes the latest to disappear down there Scotland Yard start to take the matter seriously.
A young couple encounters a sickly drunk in London's underground railway system. The man is discovered to be a displaced member of British upper class, and his story leads to the unearthing of an underground society. The British police follow a trail of tube station crimes and stumble upon a group of former subway construction workers who were trapped in a tunnel collapse during the Victorian era.
