Three horror-thriller tales based on three Stephen King short stories all revolving around a mysterious stray cat which is attempting to find a little girl in trouble after having a vision. In "The Ledge" the cat is picked up by Cressner (Kienneth McMillan) a shady Atlantic City millionaire who forces tennis pro Norris (Robert Hays) his wife's adulterous lover, to walk a narrow ledge around his high-rise penthouse apartment. In final segment "The General", the cat arrives in Wilmington, North Carolina where it is found by the young girl Amanda (Drew Barrymore) it has been sent to protect... from a tiny, evil, troll who lives behind the skirting board in Amanda's bedroom.
